Stabilisation of the outer wall
Flat strip with 90° angle setting that is mounted in the work on a prefab concrete inside wall and then with the flat end is glued into the joint of the outer wall.
Insulation mounting
The insulation is pinned on the prefab cavity wall tie (and held in place using a matching snap ring).
- Würth and GB encourage the use of sustainable materials and advise using A4 stainless steel cavity wall ties and, in certain situations, A2 stainless steel cavity wall ties in outer walls. This is supported by the Dutch Buildings Decree 2012/Eurocode 6.
