For wood-wood connections designed for clamping
The partial thread starts immediately after the shank and enables wood-wood connections designed for clamping. The screw thread is entirely positioned in the smaller component when it is screwed in.
Can be used for outdoor applications and utilisation class 3
- Optimum use of the screw requires the use of the corresponding RW bit
- ASSY screws are approved for quasi-static loads
- The partial-thread screws are perfect for connecting timber members. For optimal connection of components, the components to be fixed must be thicker than the length of the shank
- For metal-wood connections, the ASSY screws with countersunk head or with countersunk head and milling pockets are more suitable than screws with countersunk milling head
