Cavity wall tie with wood thread with a point that can be screwed directly into a timber frame interior wall using a screw-in tool.
To be used in conjunction with:
- GB outrigger plug
- UNI-Flexplug
- UNI-Perfoplug
Flat corrugated profile
The cavity wall tie has a flat corrugated profile as a tip especially for bonded exterior walls. The adhesive joint thickness must have a minimum thickness of 4 mm (thin-bed joint).
- Würth and GB encourage the use of sustainable materials and advise using A4 stainless steel cavity wall ties and, in certain situations, A2 stainless steel cavity wall ties in outer walls. This is supported by the Dutch Buildings Decree 2012/Eurocode 6.
Can be mounted directly in timber frame or in combination with GB outrigger plug, UNI-Flexplug or UNI-Perfoplug in sand-lime brick, concrete and masonry.
